“փսփսփսփս” is basically “pspspsps” in Armenian—the only way to greet a cat. One day I was drawing and had Jet Set Radio on my mind and started thinking, if I ever had a graffiti tag, what would it be? I’ve drawn a bunch of versions of this trippy cat before, and I thought it’d be fun to mix in some Armenian because I’d been seeing a lot of dope Armenian typography from other designers. “Pspspsps” just made sense. So I turned the cat into a graffiti-style tag and figured, why not make it a sticker? Kind of like low-key graffiti. Stickerapp had the option for it to be holographic, sheesh, take my money. Now I just need to find the right dive bar bathrooms and street poles to stick them on.
