This drawing is inspired by the idea of the connection we have with, not only each other but also with nature. You see this in the interlapping hands and how they almost create almost a wave-like shape. When I'm surfing and in the ocean waves, they have a way of really making me feel grounded instantly and making me feel connected to myself, others, and nature all at once. There's a meditation teacher's quote I recently read that captures this feeling, "It felt good to sit here in the natural world; I felt at home in the simplicity of the earth, trees, wind and sky." The water has a unique way of slowing you down and grounding you in connection.
